Update Pick Lists option allows the actual shipped quantity and lots assigned to sales order line items to be updated based on individual pick lists generated in Shipping Papers. Each pick list is assigned a control number when it is printed, and is placed in the update pick list Select A List window that displays when the Update Pick List option is selected.
By using the Update Pick List option, sales orders can be updated as the information for each department and pick list is entered. The status of the pick lists can be monitored using Dispatching by using the "unship" option so that sales orders can be updated with the actual quantity shipped in Update Pick List.
